John Deere has integrated Artificial Intelligence (AI) into its factory operations and farming equipment. Their East Moline, IL, facility uses an internally developed JDAAT program to ensure process accuracy, improve efficiency, and verify product quality.

More Des Moines Area Community College students will have the opportunity to participate in TechWise, a Google-backed 18-month technology career training program.
🌱 DMACC, only one of two community colleges across the country included in the program, placed 13 students in TechWise’s first cohort after its national launch in February 2022. The second cohort included 32 DMACC students out of 120 students nationwide from eight colleges.
💬 U.S. Rep. Ro Khanna of Silicon Valley in California said during the event in April that Iowa was a “logical” place to center the TechWise program due to Iowa’s “extraordinary tradition in science and technology.”
